CURTIS AND LUCKEY . . .If you've never heard of Curtis and Luckey, I feel sorry for you.  Go to their website and check them out.  Download their newest CD, Hard Way and check out their music.  This was the opening act for Gary Morris.

This group was a joy to listen too.  They did an acoustic set before the Gary Morris show and it was 45 minutes of sheer heaven.  "Sound of a Memory", "The Other Half of Me" and "I Left a Part of Me With You" were some of the standouts of this concert.  Although, truly, every song was magic.  Add into this Luckey's ever present smile and southern drawl, along with Curtis' soulful eyes and straight forward attitude; and you have a winning combination of skill, charisma and song lyrics that touch your heart.

There sound was big, bold and intimate all at the same time.  I wonder what they'd sound like in The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.  One of these days, they're going to play there, Curtis and Luckey are just that good.

Wish I could have been there! I have heard this band and they are great! I haven't been to an acoustic set with just Curtis and Luckey but the band as a whole has potential to be right in the middle of the Nashville pack. Great songs and spot on delivery! The electric guitarist/fiddle player is phenomenal! Curtis and Luckey tear it up!
